Conversion to ASCII files

 If one wants to create a simple table of intensity versus the chosen abscissa (obtained using set-x), say, for subsequent manipulation using PGPLOT or MONGO this can be done using the command

$\gt\!\gt$write-ascii-spectrum

(w-a-s will do). The header information is minimal.
