DIFFERENTIATE-SPECTRUM

Actually a convolution with the {+1,-1} sequence. Produces a final spectrum which is the ``derivative'' of the input spectrum with respect to the current X-axis variable (channels, frequency, velocity etc.). The single points at each end of the spectrum, for which the convolution is not defined, are removed, and the scan header modified accordingly.

Examples:

    >> differentiate-spectrum<CR>7
