FIND-SPECTRUM-STATISTICS

Determine the mean, standard deviation and apparent system temperature of the current spectrum, based on data within the defined x-axis velocity/frequency interval(s). If required the new system temperature can be saved in the scan header.

Relevant flags:
N_FSSP I4 Number of intervals to use for spectrum stats.
FSS_INTS R4 Pairs of channels defining spectral intervals to be used for FIND-SPECTRUM-STATISTICS.

Examples:

    >> find-spectrum-statistics<CR>
Type intervals, one at a time, CTRL(Z) to finish
    Current units are km/s

    # -10 10<CR>
    # ^z<CR>

    Quadrant: 1 Mean = 0.401 Std Deviation = 1.021
    Integration time = 120.000 seconds
    Observing bandwidth = 0.7422 MHz
Effective switched Tsys = 4817.35 Kelvins
    Accept new system temperature? (Y/N) [N] <CR>
