EXTERNAL

Invokes one of up to 10 user-supplied FORTRAN library routines. The examples below show calls to a user supplied routine (external-2), and to a dummy routine (external-4) activated when no user routine has been linked in. The structure of an external routine is illustrated in Appendix F.3
